Mal Wood - Jazz, Cabaret, MC, Entertainer, Jazz Vocalist

 

 

Mal is a multi talented musician playing such instruments as the trumpet, flugelhorn and performing vocals. He is also the conductor of the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra Big Band, and Educator at 4 Private Music Schools and a Musical Motivator and Positive mentor for young emerging artists.

Mal has a huge list of musical achievements such as: Gold Coast Arts Centre “Jazz In the Basement”, Woodford Folk Festival, Valley Jazz festival and has performed with many artists including:

Jerry Lewis, Morrison Brothers, Grace Knight, The Queensland Orchestra, Hollywood Vegas Legends, Bobby Flynn, John-Paul-Young, Kamahl, ABC’s Macca Across Australia, Sophie Monk, David Campbell, Tom Burlinson, Frank Bennett, Warner Bros. Show Band, Dreamworld Jazz Allstars, Resin Dogs, 2/14th Light Horse Army Band and Max Miller.

With such a high quality in musical standards, Mal is always in demand for one of his many talents.
