The Adam Thomas band is made up of some of Australia's finest musicians. Collectively the band members have over 30 years experience  entertaining Australian  and international audiences. The band is Adam Thomas saxophone ,congas and backing vocals, Aaron West guitar and lead vocals, Will Sargeanson keyboards,Max Stowers bass and backing vocals and Todd Burns drums,percussion and backing vocals.

The band performs a mixture of funk ,soul, blues,mo town and even jazz and reggae and pop. Some of the artist covered Jamiroqui, Stevie wonder, Ray Charles,James Brown,De- angelo,Ottis Redding,Tower of power,Bob Marley,Miles Davis,Robbin Ford,The yellow Jackets,Marvin Gaye and many more. The group plays at corporate functions and festivals and also  perform in more intimate settings such as weddings and private functions of all kinds. Adam Thomas is a versatile musician with years of experience playing in all styles, from jazz to live DJ sets. Australian born, Adam studied Jazz at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane and has gone on to forge a career that has spanned both Australia and the globe. Internationally, he has played in America, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Germany, and Dubai. In Australia, he has played with some of the country’s finest artists in all musical styles – blues, funk, reggae, soul, pop, country, along with ethnic and world music styles.

Adam is a very adaptable musician whose versatility allows him to add that special touch to any musical occasion.

Adam has been working solidly as a professional musician for many years. He is a regular player on the Australian Gold Coast, as well as in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, working with the country’s finest bands at numerous clubs, cafes, corporate functions, festivals, weddings and parties. He has toured Australia extensively with various bands. He also has international experience working at resorts throughout the world, including the prestigious JamBase Supper Club at the Madinat Jumeriah Resort in Dubai, where Adam performed as a guest artist. He also performed in a promotional recital for Baldwin Pianos in the U.S.A. Adam has also performed with numerous DJ’s, including DJ Blade (Jestofunk), Lenny Fontanna (N.Y.C.), Roger Sanchez, 1200 techniques members (DJ Peril and NFA), Resin Dogs Co founder Dave Atkins, Hi Fi Mike, Seany B, The Stafford Brothers, Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, Skunk Hour lead singer Aya. Additionally, Adam performed on a live radio broadcast from Mybar and the Berlin Bar every week for two years, which was aired on Hot FM - now known as Radio Metro - in Queensland, Australia. Both Mybar and the Berlin Bar are iconic Gold Coast clubs. Adam has also played at the Metro, the Espy, The Evelyn and The Mercury Lounge (Crown Casino) in Melbourne. Other local clubs include Fever, Fame, Varsity Tavern, The Great Northern, Isobar and many more.

Recording and Composition

In 2008, Adam recorded the jazz album, Eustralia, with Dutch jazz icons Eef Elbers, and Robert Rook. The album was recorded in the Netherlands, at Wisselord Studios in Hilversum. Adam has also contributed to many albums in Australia, as well as recording as a session player for various artists and independent labels. Some of these include HiFi Mikes single Stereo Flavoured which received high rotation on national radio and TV. Also with local bands Deep Dreamer, Kwerkshoppe and DJ Perril from 1200 techniques. Additionally, Adam has composed and arranged music for various advertisements and media productions. These include radio and television advertisements for Conrad Jupiters on Australia’s Gold Coast, and the soundtrack for Bindi Erwin’s latest DVD. Adam composes and arranges extensively in many musical styles.
